Eligible Bayside residents aged 60 years and over are invited to submit an Expression of Interest for our Subsidised Warm Water Pool – Aquatic Membership Program.
The program is designed to support older residents who may benefit from access to warm water aquatic facilities for activities such as hydrotherapy, rehabilitation, aquatic exercise and general wellbeing.
Eligible residents may receive a subsidised annual membership for up to 12 months at participating facilities including:
- Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool
- Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC)
- Danny Frawley Centre
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Live in the Bayside municipality.
- Be aged 60 years or older.
- Meet the financial hardship or disability criteria outlined on the application form.
- Not currently receive funded aquatic access through another program or hold an existing membership.
