A young man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Hindley Street last night.
About 10.50pm on Saturday 1 August, police and paramedics responded to Hindley Street after reports a pedestrian was struck by a car.
The man was struck by a Toyota sedan before falling into the path of a Ford 4WD.
The 18-year-old man from Greenwith was rushed to hospital but sadly died soon after.
Hindley Street was closed while police managed the scene and Major Crash Investigators examined the circumstances around the incident. Hindley Street was reopened about 2.15am.
