Fatal single-vehicle crash in Cairns, QLD

Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash on Stratford Road, Stratford early today, 21 June.

Reports were received at 4.13am that a grey Toyota Fortuner wagon had left the roadway and rolled.

A 12-year-old boy was declared deceased at the scene.

Two men, aged 20 and 22, and a 19-year-old woman were transported to Cairns Hospital.

The Toyota wagon was reported stolen from Pomona Avenue, Mooroobool at 3am today.

Investigations are ongoing.
