The STEM Equity Monitor is a national data resource on diversity in STEM. It brings together multiple data sets from across government to form a comprehensive and interactive view of women’s and diverse groups’ participation in STEM.
The monitor follows participation through school, higher education, graduation and into the workforce, measuring changes and trends through time. This allows you to build a consistent, evidence-based view of participation and outcomes across the STEM ecosystem.
New features in the monitor
The 7th edition introduces a more user-centred experience to help audiences find the data most relevant to them.
New design features allow you to:
- explore the most widely-used data on each step of the pathway from early education to employment
- find data about First Nations people, people with disability and those from culturally and linguistically diverse groups
- dig deeper to find data on location, socioeconomic status and other variables.
- view and save key infographics across all areas of the monitor
- download infographic posters.
