Detectives from the Frankston Criminal Investigation Unit have arrested and charged two alleged drug traffickers and seized approximately $280,000 of illicit substances.
On Tuesday this week, Police executed a search warrant at a residential address in Frankston following a two-week investigation into an alleged aggravated burglary which took place on 31 January in Carrum Downs, where it is alleged a 22-year-old woman broke into a residential address before assaulting an elderly victim.
Items seized include:
– Approximately 375 grams of what is alleged to be cocaine with an estimated street value of $150,400
– Approximately 125 grams of what is alleged to be methylamphetamine with an estimated street value of $112,500
– Approximately 125 grams of what is alleged to be MDMA with an estimated street value of $22,225
– Approximately 1 kilogram of cannabis
– Approximately $1750 in cash
A 29-year-old Frankston man was arrested and charged with trafficking and possession of a commercial quantity of cocaine, methylamphetamine and MDMA, dealing with the proceeds of crime and failing to provide a passcode to a data storage device.
He has been remanded to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 18 May 2022.
A 22-year-old Frankston female was arrested and charged with trafficking and possession of a commercial quantity of cocaine, methylamphetamine and MDMA.
She has been bailed to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 18 May 2022.
