Free Parenting Sessions
Parents and carers are invited to attend two parenting sessions at the Goldfields Family Centre.
The sessions are free and will be facilitated by Catholic Care Sandhurst:
- Parenting Conversation: Thursday 12 March from 10 to 11.30am
An opportunity for parents and carers to gather over morning tea and discuss ideas related to parenting.
The session provides an informal space for parents to share their current child related issues and ideas.
- Connecting with Kids: Wednesday 15 April from 6 to 8.30pm
A workshop focusing on using emotional intelligence to understand and guide children’s behaviour, this workshop covers beliefs around parenting as well as information on brain development and children’s emotional development.
