Swan Hill Rural City Council has partnered with Melbourne Innovation Centre to bring small business owners in the Swan Hill Municipality two FREE online workshops and FREE two-hour digital mentoring sessions all aimed at enhancing an online presence.
Small business owners will be able to register for one or both of the online workshops which will run for two and a half hours each.
Sell products on Facebook and Learn to Design on Canva are activity-based workshops that will teach participants how to stand out in an online marketplace.
With a focus on strengthening online business activities the Digital Solutions Mentoring program provides two FREE hours of online mentoring to small business owners with a valid ABN. Business owners can browse online mentor profiles and choose a mentor that best suits their needs.
“We can see this is a very challenging time for small business owners and want to provide them with some real and practical tools to increase their online presence” Swan Hill Rural City Council Director Development and Planning Heather Green said.
“This is a unique opportunity for small business owners to access quality information and mentoring, completely free of charge”
“Whether you are new to the online world or already have a good following there will be something for everyone in these online workshops and mentoring sessions.”
