Police are investigating a collision in Moolap this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports an e-bike and car had collided near the intersection of Portarlington and Whitehorse roads about 3.30pm.
The rider of the e-bike, a 17-year-old boy, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening
The male teenage passenger, who is yet to be formally identified, was airlifted with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured and stopped at the scene.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are enroute and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
