Yamba Buccaneers Rugby Club are celebrating the launch of their upgraded facilities, made possible through the Albanese Government’s Play Our Way program.
The club received $630,000 to build new female changerooms and install field lighting which will help get more people onto the field and increase safety.
With the facilities now open, the club will be able to get more women and girls involved in playing rugby.
The Albanese Government’s $200 million Play Our Way grant program supports local programs and facilities to overcome barriers that women and girls face in participating in sport.
