Funding programs for Queensland veterans supporting brighter future

  • Veterans across Queensland and ex-service organisations are being supported through grant funding from the Palaszczuk Government

  • Grant applications for the Anzac Day Trust Fund Grant Program, the Anzac Day Trust Fund COVID-19 Grants Program and the new Veterans’ Health and Wellbeing Research Grants Program are now open.

Veterans across Queensland and ex-service organisations are being supported for better outcomes through several grants programs, funded by the Palaszczuk State Government.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk today opened submissions for two programs – the Anzac Day Trust Fund Grant Program and the new Veterans’ Health and Wellbeing Research Grants Program.

The Premier also announced 23 recipients of the Queensland Remembers Grants Program, which supports infrastructure and commemorative projects around the state.

The announcements come in the lead up to ANZAC day, commemorated on 25 April each year.

ANZAC services will be held around the state to honour past and present Australian Defence Force personnel who have served in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
