The family of Brevet Sergeant Jason Doig has accepted the State Government’s offer of a Police Funeral to honour his life and service to the South Australian community.
South Australia Police together with the Department of Premier & Cabinet Protocol Unit will now assist the family of Brevet Sergeant Doig to plan the funeral, with further details to be announced in the future.
As a sign of respect for the tragic loss of Brevet Sergeant Jason Doig, tonight buildings and landmarks across Adelaide will light up blue.
Blue lights will shine on buildings across Adelaide including SAPOL Headquarters, Adelaide Oval, Parliament, Adelaide Town Hall, Adelaide Railway Station and the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
