Mid West-Gascoyne Traffic officers are investigating a hit and run crash that occurred in Geraldton yesterday, 1 April 2021.
Around 1:25pm a Isuzu D-Max utility and a cyclist collided on Bayly Street. The driver of the utility did not stop and continued travelling west along Bayly Street before turning south on George Road.
The cyclist, a 31-year-old man, received serious injuries and was flown to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
This morning a 50-year-old man was taken into custody and is assisting investigators with their inquiries.
