Welcome to the latest edition of Meat & Livestock Australia’s Global Markets Update.

The Australian red meat industry caters for the needs of many thousands of customers dotted across the globe. Increasingly those customers are asking that we meet not just product specifications but also support with product promotion.

Today it is a pleasure to announce two new initiatives MLA has developed to support sales and promotion of Australian beef, sheep and goat meat in overseas markets.  

The first is an effort to unlock MLA’s digital marketing assets, such as photos and videos. The newly developed asset portal allows the downloading of these assets via the True Aussie Beef and Lamb Website. Launching this week with an initial set of content such as lifestyle and food, livestock and farming photos, the portal will be strengthened with new assets as they become available and we gain licensing for older files.

The system is designed to allow fast access to downloadable content. Simply navigate to www.trueaussiebeefandlamb.com.au and start browsing. Users only need to fill in a simple registration form and then have immediate permission to download globally licenced content for use promoting Australian red meat.
