Following the Victorian Government’s announcement of further easing of COVID-19 restrictions, Nillumbik Shire Council is pleased to announce the gradual reopening of some Council facilities.

The Yarrambat Park Golf Course and the Shire’s skate parks are now open.

The government also on Sunday announced that outdoor tennis can resume, and Council is working with clubs to enable a safe return to courts as soon as possible.

Our priority continues to be the health and safety of the community and staff, and the re-openings will be in line with Victorian Government-mandated restrictions and advice from the appropriate authorities.

All facilities and services will operate under strict COVID-safe plans with visitors required to wear a face mask and adhere to hand hygiene and social distancing rules.

Yarrambat Park Golf Course

The Yarrambat Park Golf Course has reopened for two-ball groups and nine holes only.

The course, which is operated by Belgravia Leisure on behalf of Council, is being managed in according with Golf Australia’s Return to Play Guidelines.

To meet the expected strong demand in the first two weeks after reopening, the course is offering games of nine holes only from the first and 10th tee.

Bookings are essential, and there will be strict policies regarding entry.
