Funded through Lotterywest, Volunteering WA will help recognise Western Australia’s 1.5 million volunteers through the 2024 National Volunteer Week Grants program and raise awareness through the WA Volunteer of the Year Awards.
National Volunteer Week runs from Monday 20 to Sunday 26 May 2024 and is an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s incredible volunteers.
Each year, Volunteering WA offers small grants to be used by organisations to celebrate their volunteers during National Volunteer Week. Grants of up to $1,500 are available for volunteer organisations to help fund an event or activity to recognise and thank volunteers during National Volunteer Week.
In 2023 more than 175 WA volunteer organisations shared in over $200,000, with 175 events held across WA recognising more than 13,997 volunteers.
Applications for the National Volunteer Week Grants close 5:00pm Sunday 18 February 2024.
