Council is hosting its annual Early Years Recruitment Day, offering industry professionals and aspiring childcare educators the chance to take part in a simplified application process for positions within Council’s Early Years department.

Individuals with a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and those who are actively working towards a qualification are invited to the event on Wednesday 26 August from 2pm to 4pm at the McIntosh Centre, Shepparton Showgrounds.

Council’s Manager People and Development Karen Liversidge said the event will give attendees the opportunity to take part in a casual, on-the-spot interview.

“The recruitment day provides an opportunity to speak directly with Council’s Early Years staff,” she said.

Council’s Manager Early Years Operations and Reform Stacey East said working in Early Years at Council was not just a job.

“It’s a rewarding career where you can make a significant impact on our community and a real difference in people’s lives,” she said.

“Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a recent graduate or looking for a career change, we have a place for you in our Early Years department.

“Join us and become part of a dedicated team committed to better outcomes for all children in our community.”

Council values the diversity of its staff and encourages applications from people of all backgrounds, life stages, and experiences.
