Happiness in music form: Sunday Lemonade to perform locally

Bubbly indie duo Sunday Lemonade will be performing live in Lake Albert and The Rock on the weekend of 20 – 21 June 2026.

Named the ‘People’s Choice’ at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the folk/rock/roots music duo are visiting as part of the Weathering Well program, encouraging mental health wellbeing amongst local residents.

Weathering Well program officer Isobel MacCallum said the performances are designed to encourage the community to come together and share a heart-warming experience.

“Sunday Lemonade are like musical happiness, they connect with their audience, and their songs are super catchy,” Ms MacCallum said.

“They are becoming well-known throughout Australia, having supported acts such as The Rubens and Tones & I, and it was recently announced they will be supporting Boy & Bear on their upcoming regional tour.”

A man and a woman standing next to each other at a performance space, a live performance with purple light is happening behind them. The man stands on the right and he is throwing his head back in laughter. The woman on the right has curly blonde hair and she has an arm leaning on the man's shoulder and she is laughing with him.

JOYFUL: Loz and Tyson of Sunday Lemonade are a bright bubbly pair who bring their personalities to their music.

Sunday Lemonade will be performing at Lake Albert Hall on Saturday 20 June, with light catering provided from 5pm and the music starts at 6pm.

Earlier in the day, Sunday Lemonade will also host a free workshop at Lake Albert Hall at 11am. Places are limited and bookings are essential.

If you miss them on Saturday, they will then be performing at The Rock Bowling Club on Sunday 21 June, with catering from 2pm and the performance at 3pm.

Tickets are $20 for adults, but if your budget is tight, there is a discount code available to make the tickets $5. Children’s tickets are $5.

“The events are family-friendly and a mental health service provider will be present in case anyone wants advice for their own wellbeing or that of a friend or loved one,” Isobel MacCallum said.

“Tickets will be available at the door, but we encourage you to pre-purchase tickets for catering numbers.”
