Greater Shepparton City Council advises that water main construction works are programmed for Harold Street from Edward Street to Nixon Street Shepparton.
Works are expected to commence on Thursday 1 September 2022 with completion scheduled for Friday 2 September 2022, weather permitting.
During construction Harold Street will be closed including for on street parking. Council advises that local residents living on Harold Street will have still access to their property driveways.
As the closure will impact parking availability in the immediate vicinity we ask that motorists avoid Harold Street and seek alternate parking.
Pedestrian access around Nixon Street and Harold Street will be maintained throughout construction.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible. Motorists are also advised to obey all worksite and advisory signage including traffic controllers. Council asks for residents to take care and be aware of traffic detours.
