Have your say on community wellbeing in city

The City of Perth is working towards creating a Perth for People – a city for the people who live, work, study and play here.

To help with that mission, the City is preparing a community needs study to guide future planning and decision making across the city’s six neighbourhoods – Central Perth, Northbridge, East Perth, Crawley/Nedlands, West Perth and Claisebrook.

Chair Commissioner Andrew Hammond said the community needs study would inform how the City leads, partners and advocates for services and programs responding to the needs of the community.

“It will aim to address a broad range of social, cultural and economic wellbeing and determine local priorities in the most effective and efficient way possible,” he said.

“Overall, it will provide the City with the opportunity to become a leader in meeting the needs of its community and contribute to building an organisation focused on transformational improvement.”

The City would like to hear from the community about their social, health and wellbeing needs, as well as those of families and community groups.

Members of the public can attend any of the neighbourhood sessions below to have their say about community wellbeing and to share ideas on how to improve wellbeing in the City of Perth’s six neighbourhood areas. See the Community Wellbeing Engagement Map for the neighbourhood boundaries.
