Have Your Say on digital inclusion

Department of Customer Service

Customers are invited to share ideas, provide feedback and help shape a more inclusive digital future through a Have Your Say community consultation.

Executive Director of Identity.NSW Lenka Bradovkova said the Have Your Say survey provided an opportunity for customers to contribute to the future of the NSW Government’s digital service options to ensure inclusivity is at the heart of modern government.

“As we strive to be the most customer-centric government in the world, we are committed to making sure all customers have the same opportunity to access services to transact with government, be it in-person or online.” Ms Bradovkova said.

“We believe digital solutions are part of the way forward to creating a more inclusive NSW Government. We always put the customer first and while everyone’s situation is unique, there are common themes around accessibility, customer skills, security and trust that we can address.

“The ‘Your Digital Identity and Inclusion’ survey is essential in really understanding what barriers affect all communities including the disability community, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities, so we can best understand how to address them.”

Ms Bradovkova said government wanted to understand these problems so that it could provide a digital solution that works as part of the Digital Identity program.

“Digital inclusion is about ensuring everyone can access and use online services and digital technologies effectively,” Ms Bradovkova said.

“We want to develop digital solutions that can work for all customers and to do that we need to hear from as many of our customers as possible.”
