Hawkesbury Business Week

Hawkesbury City Council is proud to sponsor a new local event called Hawkesbury Business Week, which is aimed at bringing our business community together. The event will be held from Monday, 24 to Sunday, 30 June and will be run by Prismatic Events, supported by Hawkesbury City Chamber of Commerce and Windsor Business Group.

The last week of June was chosen for Hawkesbury Business Week to celebrate the end of financial year and to incorporate the International Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day on Thursday, 27 June.

Free networking events will be held at various locations including Richmond, Kurrajong, Colo, Windsor, Pitt Town, Bilpin and North Richmond throughout the week. Two trade show days will also be held.

Hawkesbury Business Week will also feature an inaugural business conference at Richmond School of Arts at 26 West Market Street, Richmond. An inspirational and innovative line up of presenters will include Karen Lebsanft – Kurrajong Kitchen; Ben Britton, Director of the Wild Cat Conservation Centre in Wilberforce and National Geographic personality; Damien Feneley – Hawkesbury academic; Charles Liggett – Council’s Placemaking Coordinator; Maureen Bartlett – previous Australian Small Business of the Year winner; Krys Francica – owner of multiple businesses; Nathan Rose – Information Technology expert; Rochelle Nixon – local youth worker.
