Hearts beat for Valentine’s Day celebration

Three romance writers will be part of Logan Libraries celebration of Library Lovers' Day 2024.
Louisa Duval is among three successful romance novelists who will visit the City of Logan to help celebrate Library Lovers’ Day 2024 in February.

Love will be in the air at Logan Libraries in February to mark Library Lovers’ Day.

The international celebration, held annually to mark Valentine’s Day (February 14), honours libraries and librarians and the role they play in the community.

Logan Libraries will host romance writers Louisa Duval, Kendall Talbot and Kali Anthony at a special Library Lovers’ Day event on Thursday, February 15.

The event, from 6pm to 7.30pm at Logan North Library, is in partnership with Romance Writers of Australia.

Kendall Talbot (Lost in Kakadu, which won Romantic Book of the Year), Kali Anthony (whose eight books so far include the Behind the Palace Door series) and Louisa Duval (Whisky and Sunshine) will attend on the night to share why they love writing romance novels.

Bookings are required and can be made at loganlibraries.org/whats-on/event/romancing-the-page/

Logan Libraries is also holding Library Lovers’ Day story time sessions at a number of libraries between Monday, February 12 and Wednesday, February 14.
