Detectives from the Sex Assault Squad are investigating an incident that occurred in Heathridge on Sunday 11 February 2024, and are seeking the public’s assistance for information.
It was reported, about 12am, a man armed with a knife – wearing dark coloured shorts, a t-shirt and a mask over his face – entered a home on Montebello Avenue in Heathridge.
The occupant of the home, a woman in her 70s, was asleep on the couch when she was woken by the man standing over her. The man indecently assaulted her before leaving the home.
Detectives are seeking CCTV or dashcam footage of the area around Montebello Avenue between 12.05am and 1am on Sunday 11 February.
