Georges River Council is inviting community members to join its newly formed Bushcare Volunteer Group at Shipwrights Reserve, Blakehurst, and play an active role in protecting and restoring local bushland.
Volunteer sessions are held every second Friday from 11:30am to 2:00pm, providing an opportunity for residents to contribute to the health of the local environment while connecting with nature and meeting like-minded community members.

16 October 2026.
30 October 2026.
Georges River Council’s Bushcare program helps protect and restore bushland across the local area by supporting native plants and animals, improving ecosystem health, and creating safe habitats for wildlife.
