Hide and seek with PD Edge

PD Edge has tracked a man down in Park Holme hiding in a questionable location.

About 1.40am Friday 16 February police were called to Pildappa Avenue after a vigilant resident observed someone on their CCTV cameras acting suspiciously around cars in the street. The witness was able to provide police with a good description of the man including that he was riding a pushbike.

Southern patrols were quickly on scene finding a pushbike abandoned on the street. They then saw a man running north on Bowaka Street. Patrols gave chase running east on Cungena Street but lost sight of him.

Police dog Edge was called in to help with the search while patrols cordoned the area. Edge searched along Cungena Avenue indicating at a wheelie bin. A home owner approached police saying they believed there was someone in the bin.

Inside police located a 30-year-old man of no fixed place, in his possession police located a small amount of methamphetamine and two ice pipes. He was arrested and charged with being unlawfully on premises and breach of bail.

He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
