Detectives from Boondall Child Protection Investigation Unit have established Operation Uniform Balafon as part of an investigation into historic sexual assault offences across Brisbane six years ago.

Detectives received a report from a member of the public alleging a group of teenage boys assaulted a 14-year-old girl at two residences in Chapel Hill and north Brisbane in 2016 at two gatherings between September and December, where alcohol was consumed.

Investigations are ongoing and detectives appeal to the member of the public to make contact with them again. Reports can be made anonymously via Crimestoppers on 1800333000.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with information which may assist the investigation to contact police.
