Homicide Squad detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in South Melbourne.
The 26-year-old woman was located deceased inside a property on Park Street about 2.15pm yesterday after police had been called to the address.
At this stage, the death is being treated as suspicious however police do not believe there is any evidence to suggest there is any ongoing risk to residents or the wider community.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the vicinity of Park and Ferrars Streets over the previous week.
Investigators expect to release further details in coming hours or days as circumstances become clearer.
