Amid the challenge of the current coronavirus situation, there have been many clever adaptations to life in lockdown.
Here are some ways residents, community groups and businesses have changed things up:
MONIKA BERRY, STAY.HOME.PROJECT
In light of health advice to stay home, Bellarine Peninsula resident and professional photographer Monika Berry has launched a project recognising her neighbours doing just that.
Monika is using stunning black and white imagery to document families in the community, like the photo above
Check out the Stay.Home.Project Instagram page.
ANDY POBJOY, PIANO BAR
The talented musician, who led the City’s outdoor Summer Beach Party in Little Malop Central in January, has taken to playing for an online audience from his bar every night.
Andy live streams his performances on Facebook, and even takes requests. He is typically joined by special guests, too!
Most shows are more suitable for a mature audience, however, check the schedule for kid-friendly themes like Disney.
For the schedule of performers, times and previous shows, visit the Piano Bar Facebook page.
STORYTIME VIA SKYPE
This beautiful moment was captured in the backyard of an East Geelong home.
It shows two siblings listening intently to their grandmother, who was reading a book to them via Skype.
