The appearance of Taree’s Central Business district is set for a revamp with the construction of a new amenities building on Albert Street.
The existing facility will be demolished to make way for a newer more modern design to meet the long term needs of the community.
The contract for the build was awarded to Daniel Stallworthy Pty Ltd and is expected to begin in January 2026.
The project is being funded through a NSW Government Grant under the Stronger Country Communities Fund Round 5 and a contribution from Council.
