Internationals and interstaters encouraged to Discover Darwin

Darwin City Council

City of Darwin has today launched an initiative to attract national and international migrants, students and investors to visit, live, work, study and invest in Darwin.

Th Discover Darwin website showcases the city’s ideal location and unique lifestyle, professional opportunities and diverse culture to national and international audiences.

City of Darwin Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said the website was a knowledge hub for those interested in visiting, relocating to, or investing in Darwin, in turn stimulating and growing the local economy.

“We are excited to launch Discover Darwin as a platform where people nationally and internationally can learn about our city,” Mr Vatskalis said.

“Discover Darwin will be a fantastic way for City of Darwin to offer people considering a move, thinking of starting a business, or looking to study here, all the information they need in one place.

“Once they see what Darwin has to offer, we know they will want to be involved. Why wouldn’t you want to live, work and invest here?” he said.

The website shares the stories and experiences of locals; includes a virtual tour of Darwin; and hosts episodes of a new podcast series called the ‘Saltwater Stories of the Larrakia’ with additional episodes to be launched over the coming weeks.
