Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Jason Preistley.
The 33-year-old is wanted on warrant in relation to intentionally causing injury.
Preistley is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 180cm tall, of medium build and brown curly collar-length hair with dark facial hair.
He is known to frequent the Richmond area.
Investigators have released an image of Preistley in the hope someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
