Monday, 23 March 2026: Jetstar today launches its first-ever direct flights to Bali (Denpasar) from Melbourne Avalon Airport, marking the return of international travel for passengers and bringing in a new era of low fares for Melbourne’s west, Geelong and the Bellarine region.
The new Bali route is part of Jetstar’s growth at Melbourne Avalon Airport, which also includes the return of flights to Adelaide and increased capacity to Brisbane. Together, these new and expanded routes add more than 330,000 low fare seats a year to Melbourne’s second airport gateway.
To celebrate, Jetstar is launching a 48-hour First Flight Sale starting at 12 noon AEDT on 23 March, with domestic fares from $43^ (e.g. Melbourne (Avalon) to Adelaide) and fares to Bali (Denpasar) starting from $195^.
