Police are investigating a brush fence fire at Kilburn early this morning that spread to adjoining units.
At 2.30am on Thursday 20 February, police and fire crews were called to Jersey Avenue after reports of a fire in a brush fence and adjacent trees. On arrival the fire had spread to adjoining units.
Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze but not before damage was caused to the units. Thankfully the units were evacuated and no one was injured as a result of the fire.
At this time the fire has been deemed as suspicious.
