La Trobe University Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Jessica Vanderlelie said the outcomes demonstrated the impact of La Trobe’s significant focus on working with industry and developing student employability.

“These outstandings results are proof that our students are leaving La Trobe with the skills that enable them to succeed and create real impact in the workplace,” Professor Vanderlelie said.

“We have expanded the number of industry placements and financial support available to students, that is opening increased opportunities for our students to gain practical experiences and make strong networks while they study.”

More than 16,000 students are connected with La Trobe’s sector-leading employability program, Career Ready Advantage. Co-designed with industry the program supports students to develop the skills and experiences that employers are looking for.
