Lake Alexander has reopened for swimming and other recreational water activities as of today, Friday 13 September 2024.
The lake was closed earlier this week following an unconfirmed report of a suspected shark sighting.
NT Fisheries conducted a survey of Lake Alexander and have advised that they did not detect a shark.
