Sporting clubs in Corangamite Shire have only days left to apply to the 2019-2020 Facility Design Grants Program.
The program offers grants of up to $7500 to help sporting clubs pay to develop schematic designs to redevelop their facilities, or to plan new ones.
Applications close at 5 pm Friday 23 August 2019.
Acting Manager Facilities and Recreation Jane Hinds encouraged clubs to apply.
“The program has a total pool of $30,000 to help clubs improve facilities for participants and officials.
“Making their experiences more welcoming and enjoyable will help build strong club cultures.”
Ms Hinds said the grants did not apply to building the projects but having completed designs was an asset when applying for construction funding.
“Council is committed to supporting opportunities for people to engage in healthy and active lifestyles, and to providing high-quality community facilities.”
