Cannington Detectives are investigating the assault of a 27-year-old woman in her Lathlain home during a burglary on Tuesday, 26 July 2022.
About 12.45pm the woman was at Orrong Road home when she was confronted with a man holding an object in each hand. The man demanded money before spraying the victim in the eyes with what is believed to be pepper spray. The man then fled the home.
The victim suffered burning to her eyes and face, uncontrollable coughing and difficulty breathing.
