Local roads update

Kiama Council roads crews are patrolling Jamberoo Mountain Rd and other low lying areas to ensure the safety of motorists during the heavy rain.

Jamberoo Mountain Rd remains open as alternative route for light vehicles with the closure of Macquarie Pass due to the rain.

There is a lot of water over the road and on the road edges all across the Municipality and Council reminds motorists to use caution on local roads, especially in low-lying areas.

Swamp Rd remains closed due to extensive flooding.

A large landslip at the Kiama/Gerringong bends has closed the northbound lane of the Princes Highway.
