The news music lovers have been waiting for has arrived, with the date for BASSINTHEGRASS 2024 now locked in.

Darwin’s iconic Mindil Beach is the place to be on Saturday, 18 May 2024 as BASSINTHEGRASS returns for another huge year.

The good vibes and world-class acts will kick off the dry season with thousands of revellers expected to attend the festival to celebrate more than two decades in Darwin.

There are more reasons to attend this year than ever before, with some huge line-up news coming soon and exciting new premium experiences on offer to take your BASSINTHEGRASS adventure to the next level. This includes luxury amenities and elevated viewing.

Additional performance spaces inspired by the Boiler Room concept will allow for a more diverse range of genres such as electronic music.

BASSINTHEGRASS 2023 saw almost 14,000 festival-goers dancing the night away as the sun set over the ocean with Peach PRC, San Cisco, Tones and I, Angus & Julia Stone and the Territory’s own Baker Boy.

The 2023 event generated a total expenditure stimulus of $13.1 million for the Territory, of which $8.6 million was new money, as demonstrated by independent research.

More than a quarter of attendees in 2023 came from interstate, generating 23,031 visitor nights across the NT.

The eagerly anticipated BASSINTHEGRASS 2024 line-up and new ticketing offerings will be released later this year.
