Businesses and residents are invited to get into the spirit of the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival (Sunday 26 March to Monday 25 April) by entering the Autumn Wreath Giveaway.
Council is offering $200 gift certificates from award-winning local business, Macedon Ranges Produce, to entice local businesses and residents to hang an autumn wreath on a shop window, front door or gate.
The Instagram giveaway requires entrants to post a picture of their autumn wreath on display by Friday 4 April for the chance to win.
One business and one resident will be drawn at random to each win a gift certificate for delicious local produce.
Ms Elona Jaeschke, Director, TCC Real Estate said as a major sponsor of the Autumn Festival we are keen to encourage everyone to decorate our beautiful villages with wreaths.
“It provides a stunning welcome to visitors as they walk the streets and discover why autumn in the Macedon Ranges is so fantastic.”
In addition to the Autumn Wreath Giveaway, there are a couple of other festival competitions exclusive to Macedon Ranges residents and businesses, including an amazing My Macedon Ranges Giveaway.
This giveaway encourages locals to share a beautiful autumn image and comments about their favourite things to do during autumn in the Macedon Ranges. Entries can be either emailed or posted to Instagram, following the instructions provided on the Council website.
One entrant will be drawn at random to win an amazing $600 Macedon Ranges experience, with prizes kindly donated by Maiaveda Holistic Day Spa & Retreat, Big Tree Distillery, The Victoria Hotel, Woodend Ice Cream Co., Hanging Rock Reserve and Forest Glade Gardens.
Entries for the My Macedon Ranges Giveaway are due Thursday 31 March.
