Maiden Drill Program at Pattons Intersects Target Horizon in Six Holes over 550m Strike Drill rig mobilising to second of seven

Australian Gold and Copper
  • AGC’s maiden drill program completed at Pattons
  • 1,068m RC drilled in seven holes, assays pending
  • Drilling confirmed north-east dipping magnetic horizon with strong alteration,
intercepted across 550m of strike and is open along strike and down dip
  • The magnetic and altered horizon has potential to be mineralised with gold given
    the previous surface sampling results
  • All drill holes intercepted the targeted horizon, except one scissor hole that was
designed to confirm the dip of the magnetic horizon
  • Drill rig mobilising to Achilles 3 for AGC’s second of seven near surface, discovery
    focused drill campaigns
  • Achilles 3 drilling planned to start early next week with seven RC holes for 1,000
targeting two shallow gold and copper targets
  • Well-funded for follow up drill programs upon receipt of positive assays
  • AGC’s Managing Director Glen Diemar said: “It is exciting to have drilled such a successful
program for our first program after IPO. To have hit the target so consistently in six of seven holes
(the other being a short scissor hole) across a significant strike length of 550m is a real credit to
our team on the ground, and we intercepted similar alteration to what we assayed in surface
    sampling.
Our portfolio of seven drill ready targets across three projects is a real point of difference as any
one of these could be a standalone project. We look forward to updating the market on the
ongoing drill programs and subsequent assays over the coming months”.
