Man charged after extended follow through Bendigo and surrounding areas

A man has been charged after allegedly fleeing from police in a stolen Toyota Prado in Bendigo earlier this morning.

Police sighted an allegedly stolen Toyota Prado driving erratically through Eaglehawk about 6.30am.

After the vehicle allegedly crashed at the intersection of Myers and Mundy streets, the driver was arrested by police on Mollison Street.

The female offender is yet to be located. The Mazda remains outstanding.

The 27-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with multiple offences, including, two aggravated burglaries, two thefts of motor vehicle, dangerous drive while pursued by police, exceed the prescribed concentration of drugs, drive when directed to stop and drive whilst disqualified.

He was remanded to appear at the Bendigo Magistrates Court on 27 July.
