Man charged with sexually touching girls – Parramatta

A man has been charged with allegedly sexually touching two girls at a shopping centre in Sydney’s west.

On Monday 15 June 2026, officers from Parramatta Police Area Command began an investigation after receiving a report from a 17-year-old girl alleging a man sexually touched her at a Parramatta shopping centre the day prior (Sunday 14 June 2026).

On Wednesday 15 July 2026, officers from Bankstown Police Area Command received a report that a man had approached a 10-year-old girl multiple times and allegedly sexually touched her while at the same shopping centre on Saturday 11 July 2026.

Following inquiries, officers from Parramatta Police Area Command executed a search warrant at a 46-year-old man’s home in Cowper Street, Parramatta.

The man was arrested and taken to Parramatta Police Station where he was charged with sexually touch another person without consent, intentionally sexually touch child more than 10 years and less than 16 years (two counts), and possess prohibited drug.

He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Local Court 9 today (Saturday 18 July 2026).
