Inquiries are continuing after a man and a woman were located injured at a home in Sydney’s Inner West last night.
Emergency services were called to the home on Etonville Parade, Croydon, about 8.40pm (Thursday 3 December 2020), following reports a 70-year-old man was found with stab wounds to the head.
Officers from Burwood Police Area Command attended and following a search of the home, a 65-year-old woman, known to the man, was found in the backyard with stab wounds.
They were both taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where the man remains in a critical condition and the woman remains in a serious condition.
A crime scene was established and examined by forensic specialists.
Police are not seeking any other parties in relation to the incident.
