Man died in hospital after Officer South crash

A 20-year-old man has died in hospital following a collision in Officer South on Thursday.

A Ford Ranger ute and Isuzu truck collided on Cardinia Road, south of the Princes Freeway, about 4.50pm.

The driver of ute, a Berwick man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries however died in hospital yesterday.

The two male occupants of the truck, the 19-year-old Pakenham South driver and his 21-year-old passenger, were not injured in the collision.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
