Bayside Council has distributed a total of $85,670.82 in Seeding and Small Grants to recipients in the latest round of its annual Community Grants program.
Council’s annual Community Grants Program supports local not-for-profit organisations, community groups, sporting and recreation clubs, schools and individuals that deliver programs, services and initiatives benefiting the Bayside community.
The Community Grants Program reflects Council’s ongoing commitment to supporting community participation, inclusion and local initiatives that strengthen the Bayside area.
Applications were open for a seven-week period from Monday 29 June to Sunday 16 August, with Council staff providing support to local community groups throughout the application process. Applications were submitted online through the SmartyGrants portal.
All applications were assessed by an Independent Assessment Panel in accordance with the eligibility and selection criteria outlined in Council’s Community Grants and Donations Policy and Community Grants Guidelines.
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a presentation ceremony in Rockdale Town Hall on 25 November 2026.
Bayside Mayor Dr Christina Curry said:
“Council’s Community Grants Program plays an important role in supporting local organisations and community-led initiatives.
“The program helps support the incredible work community organisations do across Bayside,” Mayor Curry said.
“These groups make a valuable contribution to the wellbeing, connection and vibrancy of our community. We’re excited to see the positive impact these grants will have and how the funded projects and programs will benefit our residents.”
