Man dies after single-vehicle crash, NSW

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s south west earlier today.

About 12.50pm on Saturday 19 September, emergency services were called to the Sturt Highway, about 50 kilometres west of Hay, following reports a vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

The male driver of a Mazda utility, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

Officers from Murrumbidgee Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the crash and will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
