Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man at Frankston Beach today.
Emergency services were called to the beach along Nepean Highway to reports a man was unresponsive in the water about 12.05pm.
The man was brought to shore by members of the public who attempted to revive him before first responders arrived.
Despite the continued effort of emergency services, the yet to be formally identified man sadly died at the scene.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
