About 12.45pm on Saturday 29 August 2020, emergency services were called to Loftus Rd at Crescent Head on the state’s mid-north coast following reports a car had left the road.
Officers from the Mid North Coast Police District arrived to find a blue BMW coupe had landed in a ditch, and the male driver died at the scene.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established while specialist police make an examination of the scene.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
