A man is in a critical condition following an assault in Sydney’s east last night.
About 10.40pm (Friday 30 August 2019), emergency services were called to Endeavour Road, Daceyville, following reports a man had been assaulted by another male.
Police attended and located a 30-year-old man on the footpath with head injuries.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation and conducted a search of the area.
Detectives would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being about 183cm tall, with an athletic build and wearing a grey tracksuit.
